Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Banero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Banero swivels and escapes.
Moreno fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Banero to the ground. Moreno is now in Banero's guard.
Moreno throws a strike but Banero rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Luis Moreno will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Moreno shoots in for a takedown but Banero shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moreno is defended easily by Banero.
Banero keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luis Moreno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
