Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wand Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaromir Jag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wand Sapp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 22 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaromir Jag! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp misses with a takedown attempt and Jag counters with a flying knee. Nice. Sapp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sapp circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sapp dives in and grabs Jag's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jag pushes down on Sapp's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wand Sapp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapp shoots and misses and Jag counters with a nice body kick. Jag tries to clinch but Sapp moves out of range. Jag closes the distance and pushes Sapp back into the cage. Sapp tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jag just stands there and leans against the cage. Jag tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sapp's elbow. Sapp lands a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sapp won't allow Jag to get back to his feet. Sapp has gone for a leg lock! Jag slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sapp's guard. Jag stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sapp is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jag tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sapp paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jag scores with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jag looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapp swats away the attempt to clinch by Jag. Jag wants to clinch up but Sapp keeps it at a distance. Jag is looking to clinch. Sapp avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sapp misses with a takedown and Jag counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sapp is lucky that one didn't land flush. Sapp shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jag defends it nicely. Jag clinches. Jag missing with knees to the body.

Sapp jumps guard but Jag turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jag misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sapp.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Jag.
Sapp tries to pull guard but Jag forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Sapp wants to take the fight to the mat but Jag manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sapp is working for takedown but Jag is calmly controlling the position for now. Sapp changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jag fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A head kick misses from Jag. Sapp shoots in looking for a takedown but Jag manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sapp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jag closes the distance and pushes Sapp back into the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jag is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sapp is defending well for now. Jag breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sapp blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jag escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jag darts in trying to clinch and Sapp counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jag's guard now. Jag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sapp wants to pass the guard but Jag is keeping the position. Jag is looking to stand up but Sapp isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sapp trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jag wants to stand up but Sapp is controlling him. Jag keeping moving, preventing Sapp from controlling successfully.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jag has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sapp off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Sapp circles away from the clinch attempt and Sapp counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jag! Sapp trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sapp landing strikes, looking to finish! Jag is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Sapp is landing with some decent strikes but Jag is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jaromir Jag will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nice takedown defense from Jag. No joy for Sapp on that attempt. Jag throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Sapp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jag is fending him off so far but Sapp persists. Nope, Jag circles away and we're back to standing. Jaromir Jag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sapp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jag counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wand Sapp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jag tries to clinch up. Jag clinches with his opponent.

Sapp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jag walks away with a smile on his face. Sapp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jag moves in looking to clinch but Sapp pushes him off. Jag lands a head kick. Sapp smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Jag has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jag is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sapp is defending well for now. Jag wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sapp blocks an elbow strike from Jag.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapp is trying to drag Jag to the mat but Jag just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jag creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sapp's defenses. Sapp has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jag is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sapp jumps guard but Jag stands there with Sapp around his waist. Sapp gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sapp has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jag after a bit of a struggle. Jag tries to circle away but Sapp has him pinned against the cage. Jag is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sapp is defending well for now. Sapp tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jag smiles and moves away.

Jag tries to clinch but Sapp is having none of it. Sapp keeps the fight on the outside. Sapp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jag as he jumps to the side. Sapp takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jag closes the distance but Sapp moves to the side and Sapp counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jag! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jag is trying to stand. Sapp looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jag wants to get back to his feet.

Sapp has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jag's face.
Jag is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Sapp has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jag is trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapp landing with strikes. Sapp is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sapp connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Jag to escape the position.
Jag is trying to stand back up. Sapp is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jag with him. Jag is trying to defend but Sapp has an arm under the chin now! Jag grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Wand Sapp!
