Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boo Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzalo Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalo Perez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boo Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gonzalo Perez! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Coleman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Perez wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coleman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Perez's head. Perez is trying to stand up here but Coleman is controlling him well. Coleman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Perez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Coleman passes the guard and advances to mount! Perez really wants to buck Coleman off and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman raining down shots from the mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Coleman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Perez has worked his arm free - good work by Perez!
Perez is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perez stops Coleman from passing to mount. Coleman looking to control but instead Perez has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perez keeps working. Perez pushes Coleman off looking to stand but Coleman dives back in and keeps control.
Coleman working over Perez with some ground and pound. Perez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coleman connects with a nice short shot to Perez's temple. Coleman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Coleman stands up out of the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman pushes Perez up against the cage in a clinch. Perez trying to stall but Coleman improves his position.
Perez lands a knee to the body.

Perez is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Perez crunches a lovely knee into Coleman's ribcage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Perez will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Coleman up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boo Coleman dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Perez scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Perez throws a head kick that Coleman semi-blocks.
Coleman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Horrible takedown by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Perez which made him look bad. Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perez as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boo Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perez shoots for a takedown but Coleman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Perez tries for a takedown but Coleman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Coleman fails with a takedown attempt. Perez keeps the fight on the outside. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez misses with a takedown and Coleman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Perez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Coleman wants to pass the guard but Perez is keeping the position. Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Perez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Perez wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman tries to free his leg and advance position but Perez is retaining full guard. Perez wants to stand but Coleman is controlling the position. Coleman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Perez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Coleman lands a nice looking kick to the body. Perez takes a step back to recover. Coleman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Perez! Coleman controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Coleman controlling the pace for now. Coleman throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Coleman landing strikes from the mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Coleman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Perez is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman with good strikes from the mount here! Perez is still in real trouble! Can Coleman finish him? Coleman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Coleman lands a nice shot to the head. Coleman with shots to the head and body - Perez looks very uncomfortable down there. Coleman breaks from Perez's wrist control and lands an elbow. Coleman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. You get the feeling that Perez really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Perez seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Coleman tries to control but Perez wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boo Coleman dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Coleman drives through with a takedown into guard. Coleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Coleman prevents Perez from getting back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman stands up from guard. Let's bang! Coleman fails with a takedown attempt. Perez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Perez with a poor takedown and Coleman counters with a shoot takedown. Perez fights it but they end up in guard. Coleman prevents Perez from getting back to his feet. Perez kicks Coleman off and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez throws a half hearted mid kick. Coleman misses with a takedown attempt - Perez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Perez rushes Coleman and presses him up against the cage. Coleman jumps guard but Perez stands there with Coleman around his waist. Coleman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boo Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perez landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Perez is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Coleman is keeping busy. Coleman fails to pull guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez with a knee to the head.
Coleman can't get the takedown.
Perez lands an elbow inside that Coleman shrugs off. A short body shot lands from Coleman as the two fighters clinch.
Perez stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Perez is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Coleman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Coleman fails to pull guard.
Coleman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown. Perez tries to sprawl out of it but Coleman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Perez with a lazy takedown attempt and Coleman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Perez won't be happy with that. Coleman is chipping away with strikes.
Perez pushes Coleman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Coleman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Perez throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perez stuffs the takedown attempt from Coleman. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Perez. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coleman is trying to get back to his feet. Perez stands up. Perez doesn't manage to clinch there - Coleman circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman stuffs the takedown. Coleman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Coleman lands in his opponent's guard. Gonzalo Perez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Coleman wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Boo Coleman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coleman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
