Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimmo comes into the arena with Roni Size-Bite The Bullet blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kimmo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nelson Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimmo with a nice cross.
Kimmo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oliveira misses with a looping left.
Kimmo avoids the body shot from Oliveira.
Kimmo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Oliveira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Oliveira gets tackled into the cage by Kimmo. Kimmo maintains the clinch.

Oliveira works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
