Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Roscrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roscrow comes to the cage accompanied by Big Time. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson tries to clinch there but Roscrow circles away.
Swanson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Roscrow ducks under a wild hook from Swanson.
Roscrow throws a hook to the side of Swanson's head but Swanson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Swanson tries to close the distance and clinch but Roscrow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Swanson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Swanson misses with a low kick.
Swanson throws a low kick but Roscrow avoids it.
Swanson throws a leg kick that misses.
Roscrow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Swanson is fending him off so far but Roscrow persists. Nope, Swanson circles away and we're back to standing.

Swanson throws a hook to the side of Roscrow's head but Roscrow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Swanson throws a looping overhand right but Roscrow ducks down to avoid it.
Roscrow lands with a hook. Swanson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Roscrow stays in close to Swanson's body and controls the position.
Roscrow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roscrow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Swanson tries for a takedown but Roscrow sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Swanson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Roscrow is able to avoid easily.

Roscrow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Swanson.

Swanson is refusing to be controlled, as Roscrow sits in half guard.
It looks like Roscrow is going to stand back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roscrow is trying to work for a kimura but Swanson is defending well.

Swanson clobbers Roscrow with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Roscrow looking to score a takedown here. Swanson is defending well but Roscrow drives through and ends up in Swanson's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Perry Roscrow just wasn't active enough.

Swanson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Nigel Swanson has been cut.
Swanson misses with a double jab.
Roscrow misses with a two punch combination.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Swanson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roscrow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roscrow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Swanson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Perry Roscrow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Roscrow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swanson.

Roscrow misses with a takedown attempt - Swanson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Roscrow here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Roscrow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swanson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Swanson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Swanson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roscrow swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Perry Roscrow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Swanson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Roscrow has his foot on Swanson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Swanson works his way back into a safe position though.
Swanson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Roscrow has locked up a guillotine! Roscrow's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Swanson is holding on here and Roscrow must be using up a lot of energy. Swanson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Roscrow gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
