Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dew Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randsome Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Randsome Gracie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dew Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randsome Gracie! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Rain stands up and waves to Gracie to follow him. Rain dives in and scores a takedown into Gracie's guard. Rain stands up from Gracie's guard - Rain perhaps looking for a knockout. Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rain pinned against the cage. Rain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rain scores with a takedown into Gracie's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Rain defends easily.
Gracie throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Rain from controlling successfully. Rain landing with the ground and pound. Rain with a flurry of punches that miss. Rain stands up from Gracie's guard - Rain perhaps looking for a knockout. Rain has Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rain to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rain is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rain postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rain chips away with some ground and pound. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Rain from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rain advances position into side control! Rain creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Rain lands some shots froms side control. Gracie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Gracie looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gracie, who protects the arm well. Rain tries to advance to mount but can't. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rain grinds an elbow into Gracie's temple. Rain in side control lands a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gracie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Rain has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Rain shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dew Rain dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Rain rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rain has clasped his hands together around Gracie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Rain advances to full mount. Rain lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gracie taking shots to the head. Dew Rain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rain lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rain pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rain lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Gracie is rocked! Rain lands a big elbow - Gracie is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Gracie is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Dew Rain!
