Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank White! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Davis! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing. Davis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. White fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davis sprawls well initially but White persists and gets the takedown into half guard. White not landing any meaningful shots this time. White is looking for a kimura here.
Davis wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it. White looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
White is working for a kimura but Davis is defending it quite comfortably.
White is trying to control the action in half guard but Davis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Davis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from White.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. White doesn't succeed with the takedown and Davis counters with a three punch combo that has White backing up. White nods at Davis to acknowledge the strikes. Davis tries to work over White's front leg with a kick but White checks it. White with a lazy takedown attempt and Davis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in White's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank White. That's going to take a lot out of him. White is breathing heavily. White wants to sweep here but Davis controlling him for the moment. Davis wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White wants to sweep here but Davis controlling him for the moment. White being controlled here, momentarily. White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Davis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Davis wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White looking for a sweep. Not yet White, not yet. White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard. Davis looking to control.
Despite being in the dominant position, Johnny Davis just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davis wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. White shoots and misses and Davis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. White tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily and Davis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Davis trying to control but White is working from the bottom. White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Davis wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. White throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
White working for a triangle but Davis defends it easily.
White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.

Johnny Davis dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
White has Davis up against the cage in a clinch.
White has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Davis uses from the top position. White wants to sweep but no luck. Davis wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White looking for a sweep. Not yet White, not yet. White is working hard here to advance position. White working a defensive guard here.
White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Davis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis stopping the sweep attempt from White. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis keeping full guard, as White tries to pass. White thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Davis wants to sweep here but White controlling him for the moment. Davis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. White stopping the sweep attempt from Davis. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Davis dives on top into guard. White looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

White tries to kick Davis off but Davis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. White looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. White is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Davis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Davis's back! White working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. White is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Davis knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Davis for a finish. White landing with strikes. Davis avoids the strikes from White. Davis defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of White's arms. Davis trying to control the action but White just sinks the hooks in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White wants to control but Davis is keeping busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davis defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of White's arms. Can Davis hold on?! White is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Frank White dominated that second round. That's time! White's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White working a defensive guard here.
White thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. White lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Davis! White with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
White has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davis's face.
Davis avoids a series of strikes thrown by White.
Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is squirming around, avoiding White's attempts to control the action. White looking to secure an arm triangle but Davis defends it well. White swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Davis is now in White's guard. A big mistake from White there, giving up the dominant position! Davis preventing the sweep. Davis trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Davis stopping the sweep attempt from White. White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Davis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, White has tightened it up now! Davis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Frank White! Frank White is the new bantamweight champion!
