Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tom Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hindu Kush! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels throws a looping overhand right but Kush ducks down to avoid it. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kush keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Daniels's efforts to push away. Kush scores with a hook to the body. Kush can't find room to land a body shot as Daniels controls the action.

The crowd are getting on Kush's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Daniels blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Daniels lunges at Kush with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kush's hand. Kush fails with the takedown. Tom Daniels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Daniels wants to slow Kush down by chopping away at his legs.

and Kush counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Daniels has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Daniels there as he acknowledges the shot. Kush fails to land with a series of punches.
Daniels slips under a jab from Kush. Daniels cracks Kush with an open hand slap. Daniels fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kush on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kush throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Daniels tries to bum rush Kush with a series of wild strikes but Kush uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kush gets a clinch. Daniels prevents a takedown attempt there.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Daniels tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kush looking to throw knees to the head but Daniels is blocking nicely.

A jab from Kush misses. Kush looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tom Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hindu Kush. Kush throws a nice looking combination but Daniels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kush is looking to chop away at Daniels's legs. Kush checks a leg kick. Donk. Kush catches Daniels right on the button with a cross. Daniels avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Daniels uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kush. Daniels throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Daniels jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kush slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Daniels lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kush shoots for a takedown but Daniels saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Daniels misses with a low kick as Kush jumps back. No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hindu Kush dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kush wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Daniels on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Daniels tries to get out of the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kush throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hindu Kush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tom Daniels's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
