PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Lerppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Bolda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fett's Vette. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lerppa throws a nice looking combination but Bolda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bolda throws a head kick but Lerppa moves out of range.
Bolda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bolda throws a left that rocks Lerppa and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bolda dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Lerppa regain composure!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bolda tries to advance to mount but Lerppa denies him.
Lerppa is trying to get back to half guard.
Lerppa manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Bolda wants to control but Lerppa is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Lerppa is trying to work for a kimura but Bolda is defending well.
Lerppa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lerppa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lerppa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lerppa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bolda is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lerppa defends well.

Bolda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lerppa defends it easily.

Josh Bolda decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
