Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iovita Alex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Iovita Alex!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alex has a takedown stuffed.
Alex circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drake lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Drake punishes Alex's body with a nice straight punch.
Alex instigates a clinch.
Alex manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Alex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Drake wants to get up but he can't break Alex's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Alex wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Alex controlling the position.
Drake drops back, looking for a kneebar! Alex looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Alex looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Alex!
Drake is trying to buck Alex off.
Drake managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Alex.
Alex looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Alex stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Alex dodges the punch combination from Drake.
Alex rushes Drake and presses him up against the cage.
Alex manages to pull guard.
Alex not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Alex doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Alex manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Alex manages to capitalize on a mistake by Drake to take his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alex controls the action.
Drake trying to get back to his feet but Alex is in full control for now.
Alex wants to control but Drake is keeping busy.
Alex tightening his grip on Drake, looking for the choke.
Alex looks gassed!
Drake looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Drake trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Alex missing with strikes.
Drake trying to control the action but Alex just sinks the hooks in.
Drake breaks Alex's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alex has a closed guard, preventing Drake from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Iovita Alex will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
No joy there for Alex, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Drake blocks a leg kick.
Drake lands a jab to the nose.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Alex breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Drake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alex circles away quickly and effectively.
Nathan Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Drake as Alex shoots in.
Good exchange - Drake coming out on top.
Alex takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Drake looks for the body kick but Alex saw that one coming.
Alex shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Drake throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Drake throws a body kick that misses.
Drake connects with a crisp jab.
Drake throws a wild body kick that Alex sees coming a mile off.
Drake misses with a double jab.
Drake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Drake misses with a series of wild punches.
Alex circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alex tries for a takedown but Drake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nathan Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iovita Alex.
Alex is breathing heavily.
Drake tries to clinch
and Alex moves into the clinch.
Alex lands an elbow that stopped Drake in his tracks for a moment.
Alex jumps guard but Drake stands there with Alex around his waist. Alex gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Drake is trying to break the clinch but Alex is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Drake connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Drake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Drake lands a left and a right that send Alex crashing to the mat, dazed. Drake thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Alex is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drake swinging wildly here.
Alex is still on wobbly legs! Can Drake finish him?
Alex slips a jab and a cross from Drake.
Drake lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Alex falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nathan Drake!
A less than humble Nathan Drake misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
