Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Sato is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Sato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Souza! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato gets a double leg takedown into Souza's guard. Sato is looking to work some ground and pound but Souza has wrist control. Sato postures up.
Sato wants to pass the guard but Souza is keeping the position. Sato postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sato would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sato throws a big elbow that misses. Souza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Souza lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sato!
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza wants to get back to his feet but Sato is holding on tight.
Souza goes for an armbar but Sato turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sato. Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Souza swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sato trying to control but Souza is working from the bottom. Sato controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sato trying to control but Souza is working from the bottom. Souza has momentary wrist control but Sato slips an elbow through the middle. Souza throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sato postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Souza is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sato, into his guard. Sato trying to keep a closed guard but Souza is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato keeping moving, preventing Souza from controlling successfully. Sato is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sato wants to pass to mount but Souza is defending the position. Souza trying to hold on to Sato's head to control him but Sato postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sato winds up and cracks Souza with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sato is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Souza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sato. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Souza keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sato is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Souza sees it coming and defends easily. Souza tries to roll over but Sato keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Sato dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Sato tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sato manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sato has a takedown stuffed. Sato throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Souza was covering up waiting for the punch and Sato finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sato works a leg free and moves into half guard. Souza is looking to control Sato's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Souza avoid being mounted? Sato wants to take a breather but Souza is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza trying to control from the bottom.
Sato seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Souza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sato not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Souza is just riding it out for now. Sato eventually gives up the hold. Souza blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sato. Sato tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Souza. Sato is trying to work for a kimura but Souza is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sato throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sato scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Souza gets full guard. Sato gets to his feet. Souza looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Souza wants to clinch up but Sato keeps it at a distance. Sato shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Souza pinned against the cage. Souza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Left hook, right uppercut from Sato.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Souza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sato's waist but Sato gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Souza off to one side. Souza shoots in looking for a takedown but Sato manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Souza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jake Sato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo Souza. Sato slaps away a takedown attempt from Souza, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sato moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Sato misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Souza has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Sato shoots in for a takedown but Souza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sato gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Souza to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sato looking to hit a scissor sweep but Souza is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sato wants to improve his position but instead Souza has moved into half guard.
Sato tries to roll over but Souza keeps him under control. Ground and pound from Souza. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Souza with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Sato dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Sato as Souza shoots in. Sato is trying hard to land a takedown here. Souza sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Souza tests Sato's chin there with a solid looking shot. Souza throws a right hand that Sato ducks under and follows up with a left that Sato also avoids with ease. Souza avoids the head kick by Sato.
Sato cracks Souza with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Souza moves into range and clinches up with Sato. Souza tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sato just stands there and leans against the cage. Sato breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sato dives in and grabs Souza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Souza pushes down on Sato's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sato counters with a stiff right hand. Jake Sato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo Souza. Souza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sato moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Souza moves in looking to clinch but Sato pushes him off. Sato slaps away a takedown attempt from Souza, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sato throws a head kick that Souza semi-blocks.
Souza is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sato. Sato drives through with a takedown into Souza's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Souza looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sato is one step ahead there. Sato in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sato trying to control the position from guard on top but Souza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Souza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sato lands a couple of digs. Sato trying to control but Souza is working from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sato throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato passes Souza's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sato looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sato is keen to just control but Souza is a slippery customer. Sato stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Souza tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Sato throwing shots but Souza is blocking nicely. Souza is pressing down on Sato's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Souza looking for a sweep. Not yet Souza, not yet. Sato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Souza throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Souza wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sato passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ronaldo Souza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jake Sato is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Souza seems a little lost for a moment, as Sato dominates the positioning.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Sato showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sato, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
