The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brace ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Brace is looking to clinch but Fire is avoiding it.
Brace doesn't manage to clinch there - Fire circles away.
Fire is looking to land body kicks.
Brace moves out of range as Fire throws a body kick.
Fire is looking to land body kicks.
Brace avoids the head kick by Fire.
Brace swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Fire jumps guard but Brace turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Brace throws the kick towards the body but Fire avoids it.

Brace has Fire up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brace managing to block the knees to the body from Fire.

Fire is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

War Brace dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rapid Fire's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Fire misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fire keeps the fight on the outside.
Fire tries to land a front kick but Brace steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Brace tries to close the distance and clinch but Fire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fire moves away.
Brace throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fire on the side of the head.
Fire throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fire does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Brace thows a body shot but no joy.
Brace scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Oooooh!!! Brace has knocked Fire down with a huge combo! Brace steps away and waves a wobbly Fire back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fire is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fire takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Brace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brace moves out of range of the body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brace looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brace doesn't manage to clinch there - Fire circles away.
Fire pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Brace misses with a wild body shot.
Brace throws a combination. Fire tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oh Fire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brace pounces like a tiger and cracks Fire with a vicious hook! Fire is down but not out! Brace follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A very excited looking War Brace made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
