6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kon Pedalny! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eltsov misses the jab. Pedalny decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pedalny is looking to take a break and control but Eltsov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pedalny is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pedalny is trying to control. Eltsov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Pedalny is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eltsov defends it well. Pedalny is looking for a kimura but Eltsov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pedalny to get the leverage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pedalny wants to pass to mount but Eltsov is defending the position. Eltsov regains full guard. Nicely done. Eltsov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pedalny got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eltsov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pedalny has managed to get both his arms back between Eltsov's legs - danger averted. Pedalny trying to control the position from guard on top but Eltsov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Eltsov can't keep his opponent in guard - Pedalny advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Pedalny is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eltsov defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pedalny has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pedalny trying to control but Eltsov is having none of it. Pedalny thowing shots but they're missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice sprawl there from Pedalny as Eltsov shoots in. Pedalny throws a head kick but Eltsov moves out of range.
Pedalny shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Eltsov napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pedalny working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Eltsov trying to control but Pedalny flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Eltsov is holding onto Pedalny's left hand, preventing any choke attempts. Pedalny has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Well, with Pedalny on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Eltsov is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Pedalny trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pedalny working for the choke. Pedalny is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Eltsov has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Pedalny looking for the RNC. Pedalny has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pedalny keeps control of the position as Eltsov tries to break free.
Pedalny doesn't have the hooks in and Eltsov manages to turn into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pedalny not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Eltsov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Eltsov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Eltsov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pedalny has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! That's four minutes gone in the round. Eltsov wants to control from the top but Pedalny keeps moving. Pedalny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Eltsov's corner is telling him to maintain position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Viacheslav Eltsov. Eltsov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Eltsov misses with the combination.

Kon Pedalny showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Pedalny moves out of range of the strikes. Eltsov looks to land a right hand but Pedalny moved out of range. Eltsov misses with a body shot.
Eltsov tries to bum rush Pedalny with a series of wild strikes but Pedalny uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Eltsov misses with a looping right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pedalny closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Eltsov's guard. Eltsov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pedalny defends it easily. Pedalny wants to stand but Eltsov is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pedalny wants to control from the top but Eltsov keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pedalny accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pedalny drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Eltsov dives on top into guard. Pedalny is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Eltsov is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pedalny being controlled here, momentarily. Pedalny is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pedalny not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pedalny seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Eltsov is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
