Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Baramari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Baramari! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rivera tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rivera jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Baramari manages to avoid the submission attempt. Baramari tries to escape but Rivera is in control. Baramari dodges the ground and pound from Rivera. Baramari taking a bit of punishment here - Rivera scoring with strikes. Rivera postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Baramari sneaks back into half guard. Baramari looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baramari works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baramari lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rivera! Rivera is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut. Rivera is in all sorts of trouble here.
Baramari looking to finish Rivera with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rivera! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rivera manages to control the position for a moment. Baramari has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Baramari tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Baramari trying to control but he's not successful this time. Baramari connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera is bucking up trying to escape but Baramari cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rivera is rocked! Baramari softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Rivera is out cold! Baramari jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Baramari! An out of breath Bob Baramari thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
