The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egardo scores with a jab. Silva acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Egardo connects with a looping right hand.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Egardo shows good takedown defense.
Egardo misses with a few strikes there.
Egardo scores with the left hand. Silva knows he should have avoided that one.

Sloppy strikes from Egardo. Those never looked like landing.

Egardo thows a body shot but no joy.
Egardo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Silva takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Egardo connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Egardo finish him?

Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva throws a wild hook but Egardo just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Silva gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Egardo raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
