The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pain enables Baleman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Pain is adopting a defensive guard.
Baleman is looking to stand up but Pain won't let him.
Pain is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Pain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Baleman's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Baleman wants to hit a switch here but Pain passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Baleman there!
Baleman is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pain connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Pain has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Baleman's face.

It looks like Aaron Baleman has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baleman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee warns Baleman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Baleman is rocked!

That has opened up Aaron Baleman's cut even more.
Baleman looks gassed!
Pain loads up with a big shot that hurts Baleman! He's pulled Pain in close but Pain has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Baleman survive? More strikes from Pain and Baleman is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
