Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remy Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge VonQulik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoost comes to the cage accompanied by Man With A Harmonica. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Remy Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge VonQulik!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost moves out of range of the body kick.
VonQulik throws a looping overhand right but Hoost ducks down to avoid it.
Hoost looks to score with a jab to the body but VonQulik is just out of range.
VonQulik misses with an uppercut. Hoost saw that one coming.
Hoost takes one to the chin there.
Hoost keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hoost takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
VonQulik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hoost as he jumps to the side.
Hoost looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A swing and a miss from VonQulik.
Hoost throws a right hand that VonQulik ducks under and follows up with a left that VonQulik also avoids with ease.
Hoost throws a series of punches but VonQulik avoids them all with ease.
Hoost fails in his attempt to clinch.
VonQulik just misses with a punch to the body.
Jorge VonQulik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
VonQulik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A jab from VonQulik finds it's way through Hoost's defenses.

Hoost uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from VonQulik.
A big left from Hoost misses.
Hoost blocks the body kick.
VonQulik looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hoost slaps away a takedown attempt from VonQulik, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Remy Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorge VonQulik.

VonQulik manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hoost on his heels. He'll look to pass Hoost's guard now, I'm sure.

VonQulik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
VonQulik wants to pass the guard but Hoost is defending well.

VonQulik looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hoost throws a body punch but VonQulik moves out of range.
VonQulik misses with a straight left.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Hoost counters by clinching up.
VonQulik is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hoost gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hoost tries a body shot but VonQulik blocks it.
VonQulik is leaning against Hoost and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
VonQulik's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Hoost throws a punch but it's blocked by VonQulik.

A short body shot lands from VonQulik as the two fighters clinch.

Hoost can't find room to land a body shot as VonQulik controls the action.
Hoost looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
VonQulik displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hoost up against the cage.

Hoost tries to throw a body punch but VonQulik avoids it by throwing Hoost back against the cage.
Hoost works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Come on Hoost - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

VonQulik tries to score a body lock takedown but Hoost shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

VonQulik is trying to drag Hoost to the mat but Hoost just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hoost tries to stall but VonQulik uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Hoost tries to throw a body punch but VonQulik avoids it by throwing Hoost back against the cage.
VonQulik tries to pull guard but Hoost won't allow it.
VonQulik jumps guard but Hoost turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hoost throws a blind hook that connects with the side of VonQuliks head.


It looks like Jorge VonQulik has been cut.
Hoost misses with a hook from the clinch.
VonQulik on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hoost stalls.
Hoost goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hoost throws a lazy right hand but VonQulik sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hoost connects with a solid leg kick.
Hoost misses with a straight right.
Hoost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoost wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from VonQulik.
VonQulik throws a series of punches but Hoost avoids them all with ease.
VonQulik takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
VonQulik misses with a series of wild punches.
Remy Hoost is winning the standup battle so far.

Hoost lands a glancing blow to the side of VonQulik's head.
Hoost tries to clinch up.
Hoost defending well as VonQulik loads up on a big left hand.
Hoost lands a nice shot that snaps VonQulik's head back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hoost tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and VonQulik is able to avoid easily.

Hoost tries to clinch there but VonQulik circles away.

VonQulik is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Jab, jab by Hoost - just one landing.
VonQulik steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hoost.
VonQulik throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
VonQulik swings widly with a right hand
and Hoost counters with a nice low kick that buckles VonQulik's knee momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
VonQulik avoids the head kick by Hoost.
VonQulik throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hoost.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
VonQulik throws a head kick that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Remy Hoost showed his dominance in that final round.
