Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Droop!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Droop scores with a punch to the head.
Droop moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mitchel misses with a combination
and Droop counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nice uppercut there from Droop.
Droop digs a good hook to Mitchel's body.
Droop fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Droop fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mitchel connects with the punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mitchel misses with a shot to the body
and Droop counters with a three punch combo that has Mitchel backing up. Mitchel nods at Droop to acknowledge the strikes.
Droop lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mitchel throws a series of punches but Droop moves out of range.
Mitchel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Droop lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mitchel is rocked!
Droop closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mitchel! Droop dives in looking to finish! Mitchel is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Droop!
