Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Marinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marinas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Linkin Park - Faint. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marinas shoots in looking for a takedown. Nash tries to sprawl out of it but Marinas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nash lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Marinas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Marinas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nash can pounce on him.
Marinas is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slapping leg kick lands for Nash.
That kick from Nash tenderised Marinas's leg. Marinas is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nash lands a head kick!

It looks like Jose Marinas has been cut.
Nash fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marinas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nash throws a leg kick which misses Marinas's front leg but catches the back leg as Marinas tries to avoid it.

Blake Nash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jose Marinas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nash connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Both fighters circling a little - Nash finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Nash fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nash lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Marinas crumples to the floor! Nash milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Blake Nash spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
