The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twister shoots in for a double leg but Wood sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sloppy strikes from Wood. Those never looked like landing.
Wood plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Tony Twister has been cut.
A head kick misses from Wood.
Wood throws a right and a left that Twister avoids nicely.
Wood has managed to clinch.
Wood drags the fight down to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Twister trying to control the position from guard on top but Wood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Twister goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wood has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Twister but great work by Wood.

Wood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Twister. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wood thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Twister is doing well to control the position and prevent Wood from advancing to side control.

Twister moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Twister escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wood gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wood has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Twister to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wood is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Twister pulls down on the head and he's put Wood to sleep! This one is all over!
