Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitamines Minerals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minerals has chosen Centrum Silver as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitamines Minerals!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minerals throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Minerals tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davis was well out of range. Poor timing from Minerals.
Davis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Minerals.
A left lands for Davis.
Davis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Minerals to the mat! Minerals manages to get full guard.
Minerals wants to stand and escape but Davis is having none of it.
Minerals utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Minerals pushes Davis off and scrambles back to his feet.
Minerals lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davis circles away quickly and effectively.

Davis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Minerals connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Davis scrambles back to his feet.

Davis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Minerals tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Davis is in Minerals's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Minerals avoids it really well and circles away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Minerals tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Minerals to the ground. Minerals escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vitamines Minerals seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Davis lands a body shot.
A head kick from Minerals lands but Davis takes it in his stride.
Minerals tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Davis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
No joy there for Minerals, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Minerals is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davis is controlling him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Davis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Davis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Minerals's head.
Minerals takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Davis drops Minerals with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Minerals! Davis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
