Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Highty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Highty has chosen Lonesome traveler as his entrance music. Mike Highty has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chris Turk's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Turk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Highty!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highty tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Turk counters with a shoot takedown. Highty fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Highty wants to get back to his feet but Turk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Turk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Highty is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Highty seems keen to control Turk's posture.
Turk forces his way into half guard.
Turk content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turk has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Highty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Turk content to control rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Highty catches Turk napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Turk to the canvas!
It looks like Chris Turk has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Highty in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk pushes Highty off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Turk.
A solid leg kick lands there for Highty.

Turk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Highty takes the fight into the clinch.
Highty tries to pull guard but Turk holds him up against the cage and eventually Highty drops back down to his feet.
Turk works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Highty looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Turk has picked Highty up and slammed him! Highty can't keep hold of the triangle and Turk manages to pass to side control!
Turk controls the position.
Highty managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Turk.
Turk is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Highty's shoulder. That is not cool.
Highty is looking for a sweep.
Highty looks gassed!

Turk looks up at the clock and then as Highty takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Turk smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Turk is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Highty will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turk could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Turk landing strikes.
Highty stops Turk from passing to mount.
Highty seems a little lost for a moment, as Turk dominates the positioning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mike Highty will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Chris Turk's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Turk looks for a takedown but Highty sprawls well.
Turk shoots and misses
and Highty counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Highty.
Turk is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Turk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turk wants to take the fight to the mat but Highty manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Highty gets underhooks to prevent Turk's takedown attempt.
Highty lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Turk backwards.
Turk wants a takedown.
Highty looking to throw knees to the head but Turk is blocking nicely.
Turk is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Highty is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Turk as Highty tries to tie him up.
Highty escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mike Highty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Highty throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Highty moves to clinch but Turk breaks away
and Turk counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Highty tries to kick Turk off but Turk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Turk takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turk's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Turk wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Highty swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Turk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Highty won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turk takes a little break here. Highty wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Highty tries to improve position but can't.
Turk happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Highty is working to avoid the ground and pound but Turk connects with a decent elbow.
Turk slows the pace down.
Turk works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Turk controlling the position from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Turk seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Highty for as long as he can get away with.
Turk is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Highty looks calm but he's in trouble here. Turk gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Highty is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Turk lets go of the hold and Highty can pop his arm back in it's socket.
