Genova is trying to drag Heinze to the mat but Heinze just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Andreas Heinze hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Heinze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Genova looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Genova can't do much from the bottom here.

Heinze feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Heinze has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Genova is trying to keep an underhook but Heinze manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Genova is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Heinze's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Heinze's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Genova is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Heinze has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Genova has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Heinze taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Genova doesn't care though - he's delighted!
