PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Drabek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drabek comes to the cage accompanied by Imagine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Drabek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Ryan Brown!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Drabek connects with a nice short shot to Brown's temple.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Drabek lands a nice short elbow.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Drabek accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Drabek fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brown to the ground. Drabek is now in Brown's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drabek keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It looks like Ryan Brown has been cut.
Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drabek softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Brown is out cold! Drabek jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Drabek!
