and Kobra counters with a nice kick to the body.
Slystarr throws a lazy uppercut
and Kobra counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Slystarr shoots and misses
and Kobra counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Slystarr shoots in looking for a takedown. Kobra tries to sprawl out of it but Slystarr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kobra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
King Kobra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slystarr throws a body punch but Kobra moves out of range.

Slystarr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kobra pinned against the cage. Kobra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Kobra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kobra throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slystarr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kobra counters with a nice uppercut.
Slystarr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kobra tries to avoid it but Slystarr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kobra to the ground. Kobra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slystarr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kobra is trying to maintain the position but Slystarr is very close to passing his half guard.

Kobra throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
