Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saul Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistar Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trejo's entrance music is Red Flag by Billy Talent. A fine choice. Overeem is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by right above it lil wayne. Saul Trejo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alistar Overeem!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Trejo.
Overeem dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Trejo. That did some damage!
Trejo throws a head kick but Overeem moves out of range.
Trejo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Trejo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Overeem scores with a body shot.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Trejo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Overeem fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trejo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Trejo is breathing heavily.
An inside leg kick lands from Overeem.
Trejo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Overeem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trejo.
Trejo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Overeem!
Overeem looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Overeem moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Overeem lands a head kick. Trejo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Trejo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Overeem fakes the leg kick and cracks Trejo in the body.
Overeem thuds his shin into the meat of Trejo's side.
Overeem lands a big head kick that sends Trejo tumbling to the mat! Overeem takes a step backwards and waves Trejo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Overeem is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Trejo rather than just go for the knockout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Trejo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Overeem - the referee stops the clock and Trejo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Overeem. Trejo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Overeem scores with a spinning back kick!
Overeem with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Overeem scoring well with a low kick there.
Overeem throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Trejo is rocked!
Overeem chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oh Trejo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Overeem thows a body kick. Trejo tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Trejo seems to have got his legs back now.
Trejo will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trejo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A jab from Overeem does it's job there.
Overeem throws a head kick but Trejo moves out of range.
Overeem lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses.
Oooooh!!! Overeem has knocked Trejo down with a huge combo! Overeem steps away and waves a wobbly Trejo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Overeem circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Trejo to the canvas! Trejo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Overeem keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alistar Overeem!
A very excited looking Alistar Overeem rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
