Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Tetriakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tetriakov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Arsonist's Prayer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Boris Tetriakov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tetriakov looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Patterson is looking to stand up but Tetriakov isn't so interested in that idea.
Patterson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tetriakov works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Patterson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tetriakov on the ground.
Tetriakov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Tetriakov wants to free his trapped foot but Patterson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Patterson is trying to stand up here but Tetriakov is controlling him well.
Tetriakov drops an elbow to the side of Patterson's head.
Tetriakov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Patterson!

Tetriakov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Patterson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Tetriakov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Patterson but Patterson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tetriakov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tetriakov showed some decent athleticism there.
Tetriakov looks gassed!
Tetriakov prevents Patterson from standing back up.
Tetriakov trying to control the action but Patterson is working from the bottom.
Patterson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Tetriakov moves into full mount! Patterson won't be happy about that!
Tetriakov tries to control but Patterson wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tetriakov working for a submission but Patterson is keeping him at bay.
Patterson really wants to buck Tetriakov off and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tetriakov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Tetriakov forces the positional change into back control.
Patterson showing good submission defense here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tetriakov is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Patterson is defending well though. Tetriakov let's go of the attempt for now.
Patterson is trapped and Tetriakov is scoring with shots to the head and body.
