Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre throws a right and a left that Penn avoids nicely.
Penn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Penn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and St Pierre counters with a single leg into guard. Penn didn't expect that.
Penn has his foot on St Pierre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. St Pierre works his way back into a safe position though.
St Pierre makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
St Pierre stands up over Penn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Penn is rocked!
St Pierre forces his way into half guard.
Oh Penn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
St Pierre lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Penn quite badly. Penn pulls St Pierre in close trying to recover. St Pierre postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Penn on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Penn doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin St Pierre!
