Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Concepcion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mays comes into the arena with Wretches & Kings blaring out of the sound system. Concepcion has chosen The Descent as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mays is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mays pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mays throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Concepcion on the side of the head.
Mays throws a series of punches but Concepcion moves out of range.
Concepcion lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Virgil Mays has been cut.
Concepcion takes a swing at Mays's ribcage but misses.
Concepcion misses with a wild body shot.
Mays throws a hook but Concepcion avoids it easily.
Mays is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Concepcion moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angel Concepcion!
During a confident post fight interview, Angel Concepcion thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
