Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wallace St Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo Peixoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Edwards kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Habs Goal Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wallace St Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peixoto throws a head kick but St Edwards moves out of range.
Enzo Peixoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peixoto moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Peixoto tries to clinch but fails miserably
and St Edwards counters with a shoot takedown. Peixoto fights it but they end up in guard.
St Edwards passes Peixoto's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Peixoto wants to stand back up but St Edwards manages to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peixoto is looking to work his way out of this bad position but St Edwards is controlling him well.
St Edwards in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
St Edwards is working to tighten is grip on Peixoto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Peixoto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but St Edwards is really squeezing tight and eventually Peixoto passes out! St Edwards breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Wallace St Edwards!
Wallace St Edwards tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
