Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Ducati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimura comes to the cage accompanied by Inner Light by Shocking Lemon. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuya Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Francois Ducati! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura throws a quick inside leg kick. Ducati throws a body punch but Kimura moves out of range. Kimura clinches up with Ducati and pushes him back against the cage. Kimura tries to work over Ducati's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kimura can't find room to land a body shot as Ducati controls the action.
Ducati wants a takedown but no success here.

Kimura forces his way into half guard. Kimura with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ducati is pressing down on Kimura's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ducati is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kimura is adopting a defensive guard. Ducati looking to sit in guard and control but Kimura gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ducati looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kimura trying to control the position from guard on top but Ducati is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ducati working for a triangle but Kimura defends it easily.
Ducati escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kimura gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Ducati had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kimura defends it easily. Kimura tries to free his leg and advance position but Ducati is retaining full guard. Kimura has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kimura got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ducati has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kimura has managed to get both his arms back between Ducati's legs - danger averted. Ducati is pulling down on Kimura's head to control his posture.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Kimura sitting in guard here, content to control. Ducati looking for a sweep. Not yet Ducati, not yet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ducati is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ducati trying to control the position from guard on top but Kimura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kimura trying to keep a closed guard but Ducati is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ducati shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kimura but Kimura pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kimura swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A shot to the body from Kimura misses and Ducati counters with a left to the body. Ducati ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kimura misses with a body kick. Ducati fails with the takedown and Kimura counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tatsuya Kimura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francois Ducati. Kimura scores with a punch to the head. Kimura missing with a left hand there. Ducati was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kimura with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Kimura connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Francois Ducati seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ducati. Ducati tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kimura is trying to control Ducati's posture but Ducati avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Francois Ducati dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Kimura counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ducati's guard now. Ducati controlling Kimura's posture. Ducati looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kimura is one step ahead there. Ducati throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kimura uses it to pass to side control.
Ducati trying his best to control but Kimura has mounted him. Ducati is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ducati tries to reverse the position but Kimura maintains control. Kimura controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ducati tries to lock up and control but Kimura gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ducati is in all sorts of trouble here.

Ducati is desperately trying to improve his position but Kimura has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kimura trying to control but Ducati is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ducati sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ducati looking for a kimura from the bottom but Kimura passes into side control! Ducati tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kimura wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ducati is trying to escape the position but Kimura is controlling the position. Francois Ducati has got the better of the ground game so far. An elbow from Kimura crashes against the mat.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Ducati is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kimura is staying active. Ducati manages to get back to half guard. Kimura is figuring out what he wants to do next. Ducati tries to get to full guard but Kimura has control of the leg. Kimura seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ducati does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ducati gets back to full guard.

Ducati can't control as he wanted to and Kimura manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Kimura is controlling Ducati's trapped leg to prevent Ducati from advancing to side control. Ducati is controlling the pace.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. Kimura managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ducati.
Kimura regains half guard, as Ducati was trying to land strikes. Ducati stalling away here and it's allowed Kimura to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Ducati is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ducati trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ducati landing with the ground and pound. Ducati wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Francois Ducati comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ducati has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Francois Ducati wins by unanimous decision! A relieved looking Francois Ducati thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
