Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macloud fails with a takedown attempt.
Barao throws a sloppy head kick and Macloud moves out of range easily.
Barao throws a nice outside leg kick.
Barao lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Macloud misses with a jab, cross combination.
Barao throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Macloud.
Barao delivers a nice body kick.
Barao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A combination from Barao does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Macloud or perhaps it was just good defense by Barao which made him look bad.
Renan Barao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konar Macloud.
Macloud throws a leg kick
and Barao counters with a head kick. That will keep Macloud thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Macloud closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barao circles away.
Macloud drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Macloud drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Macloud jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Macloud is trying to control. Barao wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Barao is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Macloud pulls his head out easily.

Macloud frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Macloud takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BOOM! Macloud connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Barao is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Macloud has taken his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Macloud is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Barao won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Macloud off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Konar Macloud!
