Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randall Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otis Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randall Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otis Gein!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cole looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cole tries to clinch there but Gein circles away.
Cole tries a head kick but it misses.
Cole tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gein swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cole wants to clinch.
Cole moves in looking to clinch but Gein pushes him off.
Cole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cole throws a head kick but Gein moves out of range.
Cole wants to clinch.
Otis Gein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cole fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cole tries to clinch there but Gein circles away.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cole connects with a knee to the head.
Cole throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gein blocks it with crossed arms.
Cole prevents a takedown attempt there.
Randall Cole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otis Gein.

Gein throws a strike but Cole rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Randall Cole will probably get the nod.
That's time! Cole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Gein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cole's guard.
Cole wants to get back to his feet but Gein is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Cole is really struggling to control Gein but he's trying to hold on to the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cole is bucking up trying to escape but Gein cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Cole tries to hold on but Gein postures up.
Gein cracks Cole with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Gein can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cole is looking to escape.
Cole tries to hold on but Gein pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Otis Gein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Gein counters by moving into the clinch.

Gein moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cole has worked his arm free - good work by Cole!

Gein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cole does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cole holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Cole is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Otis Gein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
