Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rand al Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Philip Gray told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Thor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gray shoots in but no luck this time.
Gray tries to clinch up.
Gray tries to clinch but al Thor is having none of it.
al Thor throws a nice outside leg kick.
Philip Gray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gray shoots in but al Thor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gray shoots for a double leg takedown but al Thor sprawls well. He's pushed Gray's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rand al Thor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philip Gray.
Gray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but al Thor circles away quickly and effectively.
Gray darts in trying to clinch
and al Thor counters with a nice uppercut.

al Thor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gray throws a sloppy head kick and al Thor moves out of range easily.

al Thor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

al Thor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
al Thor throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gray looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gray ducks right into an uppercut from al Thor.
That has opened up Philip Gray's cut even more.
Gray tries a head kick but it misses.

A shot to the liver by al Thor. Beautiful body shot.
Gray tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. al Thor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
al Thor blocks a head kick by Gray.
Gray closes the distance but al Thor moves to the side
and al Thor counters with a straight right hand.
Gray wants to clinch up but al Thor keeps it at a distance.
Gray throws a low kick but it's checked well by al Thor.
al Thor scores with a nice right hand.
Gray with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling al Thor to score with a decent uppercut.

al Thor connects with a leg kick. Gray looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gray throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and al Thor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
al Thor is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
al Thor scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gray looks gassed!
Gray shoots in for a double leg but al Thor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gray on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
al Thor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The cut above Philip Gray's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
al Thor jabs Gray right on the nose. Gray blinks but takes it well.
al Thor cracks Gray with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. al Thor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gray to stand back up!
Gray is rocked!
al Thor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gray. That did some damage!
Gray is still on wobbly legs! Can al Thor finish him?
Good leg kick by al Thor there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gray seems to have recovered his senses.
Gray tries to get into range but al Thor steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Gray! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! al Thor scores the big KO victory!
