Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steinar Sting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes to the cage accompanied by Zatox and Tatanka - Kickin Ass. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sting fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Patton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Patton walks into a jab.
Patton throws a big shot that misses.
Patton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sting on the side of the head.
Sting tries a head kick but it misses.
Sting shoots in and drives through. Patton sprawls well.

and Sting counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Patton.

Sting is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Patton rather than just go for the knockout.

Steinar Sting seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sting fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Patton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Patton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sting connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Patton scrambles back to his feet.
