Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Sleep!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Coulter!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleep throws a low kick, looking for Coulter's leg but Coulter calmly moves out of range.
Coulter closes the distance and clinches up with Sleep, looking for a takedown. Coulter pushes Sleep against the cage but Sleep circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sleep stuns Coulter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sleep displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coulter.
Sleep swinging wildly here.
Sleep throws a nice looking combination but Coulter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Coulter shoots for a takedown but Sleep saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Arthur Sleep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Coulter.
Coulter fails with a takedown attempt.
Coulter has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Thomas Coulter has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sleep tries to score with a low kick but Coulter moves his leg out of the way.
Sleep lands with an uppercut that bounces Coulter off the cage and back into range.
Coulter shoots in looking for a takedown. Sleep tries to sprawl out of it but Coulter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sleep manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Coulter looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sleep throws a series of punches but Coulter avoids them all with ease.
Sleep throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Coulter colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Sleep as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Coulter is left battered and dazed whilst Sleep and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arthur Sleep!
