The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Goodridge.
Bastos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Goodridge showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bastos.
Bastos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goodridge.
Goodridge looks for a takedown but Bastos sprawls well.
Bastos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goodridge circles away quickly and effectively.
Bastos misses the jab.

Bastos throws a right and a left that Goodridge avoids nicely.
Bastos looks to score with a jab to the body but Goodridge is just out of range.
Goodridge tries to bum rush Bastos with a series of wild strikes but Bastos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bastos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goodridge is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bastos rolls with it to try and escape but Goodridge cranks on the arm and Bastos is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
