Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Viedt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Well (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viedt comes to the cage accompanied by Prophecies. Adrian Viedt has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Viedt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bud Well!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well shoots for a takedown but Viedt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Viedt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Well chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Viedt can pounce on him.

Viedt gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Viedt has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Well regains guard immediately.
Well can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Viedt controls the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adrian Viedt.
Well Viedt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
