Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwayne Cameron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Julian Caesar!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar lands with a nice body kick.
Cameron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Caesar.
Caesar throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cameron's head.
Julian Caesar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caesar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cameron paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cameron feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Cameron throws an elbow that misses. Caesar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cameron's guard. Nice move by Caesar!
Caesar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cameron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Caesar wants to control from the top but Cameron keeps moving.

Cameron is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Caesar is aware though and is defending well.

Cameron has his foot on Caesar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Caesar works his way back into a safe position though.

Caesar decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Cameron has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Caesar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cameron takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Caesar.

Caesar keeps Cameron at a distance using the push kick.
Cameron fails to land the takedown.
Caesar goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Caesar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Cameron shoots in for a double leg but Caesar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cameron wants to work for an arm triangle but Caesar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Caesar is staying active underneath Cameron, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cameron lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Caesar regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Cameron.

Cameron drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Caesar dives on top into guard.

Cameron throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Caesar escapes and throws Cameron's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Cameron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Cameron avoids a punch combination nicely.
Caesar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cameron sprawls well. Cameron wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Caesar gets slowly back to his feet.
Caesar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Caesar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Cameron fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Caesar to the ground. Cameron is now in Caesar's guard.

Caesar is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cameron wants to control from the top but Caesar keeps moving.
Cameron's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Dwayne Cameron wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Cameron is just content to waste time from the top position. Caesar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cameron accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
