Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Everth Cabaret (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Where the hood at ?. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Everth Cabaret!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots and misses
and Cabaret counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Cabaret counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Anderson moves into full guard.
Cabaret is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control.

Cabaret is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.
Cabaret tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cabaret can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anderson controls the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cabaret throws a body punch but Anderson moves out of range.

Cabaret fakes the leg kick and cracks Anderson in the body.

and Cabaret counters with a stiff right hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cabaret connects with a leg kick. Anderson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Cabaret counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Cabaret throws a shot to the body.
Anderson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cabaret. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cabaret scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Anderson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Cabaret is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Cabaret is keen to just control but Anderson is a slippery customer.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anderson is looking for a sweep. Cabaret is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's time! Anderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Cabaret takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Everth Cabaret seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Anderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cabaret defends it nicely.
Cabaret throws a hook to the side of Anderson's head but Anderson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Anderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cabaret avoids it really well and circles away.

Cabaret drives through with a takedown into Anderson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Anderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cabaret pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Anderson is keeping the position for now.

Anderson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cabaret has picked Anderson up and slammed him! Anderson can't keep hold of the triangle and Cabaret manages to pass to side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Anderson is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cabaret cracks Anderson with a big right hand but Anderson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anderson is rocked!
Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Cabaret keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Anderson's face as Cabaret controls the position.

Cabaret working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cabaret is working away from the top position though.

Everth Cabaret showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cabaret.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cabaret throws a jab when Anderson was well out of range.
Cabaret pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cabaret does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Cabaret counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Cabaret makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cabaret cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cabaret throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jason Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cabaret scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Anderson doesn't seem bothered though.
Cabaret keeps Anderson at a distance using the push kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Anderson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cabaret - the referee stops the clock and Anderson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cabaret. Anderson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cabaret lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Anderson at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Anderson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Anderson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Cabaret shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Anderson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cabaret content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Anderson wants to control but Cabaret postures up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cabaret is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Cabaret's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anderson wants to control but Cabaret postures up.
Cabaret controlling the position.
Jason Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Everth Cabaret comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cabaret has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
