Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin comes to the cage accompanied by TURISAS - Rasputin. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eric Jones's chin.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Jones! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin cracks Jones with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rasputin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jones to stand back up!
It looks like Eric Jones has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Rasputin dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Rasputin's head and hops out. Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rasputin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A swing and a miss from Jones. Rasputin is looking to clinch. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Rasputin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Jones. Jones rushes Rasputin and presses him up against the cage. Rasputin lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin scores with a shot to the side of Jones's head. Rasputin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rasputin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rasputin working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.

Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones postures up in Rasputin's guard and throws a big left but Rasputin blocks it. That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rasputin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rasputin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jones scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rasputin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rasputin looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Rasputin gets back to full guard.

Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rasputin kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Rasputin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jones is working Rasputin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rasputin is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Rasputin keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones lands a couple of elbows. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wants to control from the top but Rasputin keeps moving. Jones with a nice head shot there. Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rasputin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rasputin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jones escapes and throws Rasputin's legs to the side, diving into side control! Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rasputin has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rasputin keeps working. Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rasputin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones in side control lands a decent elbow. Rasputin throws Jones to one side and escapes! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones shoots in for a takedown but Rasputin shows good takedown defense. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Rasputin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones shoots in but Rasputin avoids the takedown attempt easily. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Jones. Rasputin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rasputin wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Rasputin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rasputin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily. Rasputin throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jones to regain full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rasputin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rasputin trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rasputin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rasputin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin! A very excited looking Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
