Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jebidiah Knepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir Chinalot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knepp comes to the cage accompanied by Amish Paradise. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chinalot's choice of entrance music: Me So Horny. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sir Chinalot!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Knepp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Knepp connects with a body shot that sends Chinalot's belly button to the back.
Knepp swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Knepp misses with a head kick.
Knepp tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chinalot.
Knepp misses with a hook.
Chinalot avoids the body shot from Knepp.
Chinalot tries to score with a low kick but Knepp moves his leg out of the way.
Knepp swings for the body but Chinalot moves out of range.
Chinalot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Knepp defends it nicely.

Knepp is looking to wear down Chinalot with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Knepp throws a sloppy head kick and Chinalot moves out of range easily.
Knepp bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chinalot's head backwards.


It looks like Sir Chinalot has been cut.
Chinalot takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Chinalot closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Knepp's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jebidiah Knepp overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Knepp remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chinalot can't do much from the bottom here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jebidiah Knepp.
Well Knepp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
