Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kc Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Primo Marcello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones closes the distance and pushes Marcello back into the cage.
Bones goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Marcello prevents a body shot from Bones.
Marcello is looking for a takedown.
Bones is working Marcello over against the cage.
Marcello tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bones smiles and moves away.
Bones tries to clinch up but Marcello circles away and keeps his distance.
Marcello misses with a hook. Bones ducked under it nicely.
Marcello fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Marcello bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bones's head backwards.
Bones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marcello finds it's way round the side to connect with Bones's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Bones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Marcello has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Marcello is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

With the fighters up against the cage, Bones throws an elbow but misses.
Marcello has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bones uses from the top position.

Marcello stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bones walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Marcello scores with a jab. Bones acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Kc Bones has been cut.

Bones wants to clinch but Marcello slips to the side
enabling Marcello to counter with a crisp jab.
Marcello throws a looping overhand right but Bones ducks down to avoid it.
Bones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bones rushes Marcello and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Marcello throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Boness head.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Marcello fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bones throws a head punch that misses.
Marcello is working for takedown but Bones is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kc Bones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Primo Marcello.
Marcello is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bones can't fight it off and eventually Marcello manages to take the fight to the floor. Bones looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Marcello has gone for a leg lock! Bones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Marcello's guard.

Marcello sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bones's guard.

Bones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcello doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bones is tightening it up a little... Marcello has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Marcello reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Marcello taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bones!
