Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kina Pereueta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pereueta comes to the cage accompanied by Samoan Warriors. Sosa has chosen Maria Conchita - Vamos A Bailar as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kina Pereueta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alejandro Sosa! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Sosa scores with a four punch combination! Sosa misses with a double jab.
Pereueta jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pereueta misses with a double jab
and Sosa counters by moving into the clinch. Sosa wants a takedown.
Pereueta wants to break free but Sosa has control.
Sosa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pereueta prevents it.

Kina Pereueta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alejandro Sosa. Sosa manages to pull guard.

Pereueta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pereueta manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sosa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pereueta is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pereueta has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sosa is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pereueta trying to control but Sosa is working from the bottom.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pereueta falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sosa counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sosa jumps guard and drags Pereueta to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Pereueta preventing the sweep. Pereueta throwing strikes from guard but Sosa blocks nicely. Pereueta stands up from guard. Let's bang! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alejandro Sosa dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pereueta misses with a shot to the body letting Sosa counter with a right hand. Pereueta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sosa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pereueta thows a body shot but no joy. Pereueta misses the body punch and Sosa moves into the clinch. Pereueta tries to break the clinch but Sosa is controlling the position. Pereueta is looking to break free of the clinch but Sosa has double underhooks. Sosa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sosa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Pereueta wants to stand but Sosa is controlling his posture from full guard. Sosa tries to strike from the bottom.

Sosa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sosa has his feet on Pereueta's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

and Sosa counters with a nice uppercut. Pereueta misses with a body punch
and Sosa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sosa. Pereueta wants to stand and escape but Sosa is having none of it. Pereueta tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sosa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sosa gets to his feet - Pereueta follows without any prompting. Sosa tests Pereueta's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kina Pereueta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pereueta falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sosa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pereueta's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alejandro Sosa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Sosa scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pereueta is trying to get back to full guard. Sosa prevents Pereueta from standing back up.
Sosa seems to be looking for submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sosa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pereueta's head. Pereueta won't allow Sosa to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sosa is looking for a kimura here.
Pereueta moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pereueta throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sosa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sosa pushes down on Pereueta's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sosa performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kina Pereueta has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pereueta is trying to stand back up but Sosa is controlling him
And that's the end of the fight! Alejandro Sosa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sosa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
