Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andelko Antun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andelko Antun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andelko Antun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Valdez! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valdez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Valdez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Antun connects with a solid leg kick. Antun misses with an attempted mid kick.
Antun shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Valdez tries a head kick but it misses.
Antun has taken the fight to the clinch.

Valdez wants to break free but Antun has control.
Antun throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Valdez blocks it with crossed arms. Antun unloads a knee to the mid-section. Valdez lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Valdez takes an elbow to the temple. The referee calls for Antun to work.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Antun is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Antun turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Antun manages to end up in side control. Antun slows the pace down. Valdez looks gassed! Valdez dodges the ground and pound from Antun.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antun takes a little break here. Valdez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Antun decides to stand up, so the ref orders Valdez to his feet. Antun shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Valdez blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Antun controlling from mount. Valdez is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Antun tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Antun's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Andelko Antun just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Valdez tries for a takedown but Antun circles away easily and Antun counters with a nice leg kick. A swing and a miss from Valdez. Valdez throws a right and a left that both miss. Antun throws a quick inside leg kick. Antun feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Valdez's calf. Valdez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Antun moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Valdez tries to clinch up and Antun counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Valdez!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antun controlling from mount. Antun goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Valdez is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Antun wants to stand and escape but Valdez is having none of it. Antun trying to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Antun has his hands on Valdez's head, controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andelko Antun dominated that round. That's time! Antun's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Valdez fails with the takedown and Valdez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Antun chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Valdez tries to break the clinch but Antun is controlling the position. Antun's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Valdez tries to break the clinch but Antun is controlling the position. Antun with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Antun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Antun looks to land a right hand but Valdez moved out of range. Antun throws a nice inside leg kick. Valdez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Antun. Valdez throws a lazy head kick and Antun counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Valdez is lucky that one didn't land flush. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Valdez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Antun as he avoids it easily. Valdez looks to land a combination but Antun avoids it well. Valdez misses with a double jab
and Antun counters by clinching up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antun has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Valdez is trying to keep an underhook but Antun manages to get the takedown into half guard. Valdez won't allow Antun to pass to mount. Valdez desperately trying to maintain half guard. Valdez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Antun. Antun controlling the pace. Antun thows a huge punch but Valdez dodges it nicely.
Antun perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Antun has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valdez tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Antun manages to move to mount!

Antun keeps the fight on the outside. Antun lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Antun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Valdez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Valdez throws the kick towards the body but Antun avoids it. Valdez blocks a low kick nicely. Antun pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Antun throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Valdez tries to bum rush Antun with a series of wild strikes but Antun uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Valdez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Antun at a distance.

Antun closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Valdez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Antun has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Valdez's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Antun throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andelko Antun dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Antun cracks the inside of Valdez's front leg. Antun is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Valdez can do to turn this around? Valdez keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Valdez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Antun is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Valdez to the mat. Valdez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Antun controls from within his opponent's guard. Antun postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Antun throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valdez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Antun is controlling him. Antun sitting in guard here, content to control. Valdez keeping moving, preventing Antun from controlling successfully. Antun is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Valdez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Antun stopping the sweep attempt from Valdez.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Antun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Valdez wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Valdez misses with an uppercut. Antun saw that one coming. Valdez misses with a kick to the body and Antun cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Antun has Valdez up against the cage in a clinch.

Andelko Antun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice takedown defense from Antun. No joy for Valdez on that attempt. Juan Valdez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Andelko Antun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Valdez. Valdez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Valdez's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Valdez duly obliges.
And that's the end of the fight! Andelko Antun showed his dominance in that final round. Well Antun has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
