Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Leben Strat! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alesana Tuilagi! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuilagi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Strat's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tuilagi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Tuilagi postures up in Strat's guard and throws a big left but Strat blocks it. Tuilagi stops Strat from standing up. Tuilagi is stalling in the full guard. Let's hope that Tuilagi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Tuilagi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Strat is keeping the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alesana Tuilagi. Tuilagi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Strat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strat misses with a two punch combination.

Strat shoots in for a takedown but Tuilagi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Tuilagi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Strat chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tuilagi can pounce on him.
Strat is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tuilagi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tuilagi content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tuilagi postures up and lands a big shot to Strat's brow. Tuilagi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tuilagi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Tuilagi controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Strat is rocked! Tuilagi loads up on a big left hand. Strat felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tuilagi looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Strat can't hide his disappointment, as Tuilagi celebrates the victory.
