Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reece Tomko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Etan Xoul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomko comes into the arena with Cancer bats-Sabotage blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Reece Tomko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Etan Xoul! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Xoul manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tomko fails with the takedown and Xoul decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tomko's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xoul won't allow Tomko to sweep him here. Xoul wants to control from the top but Tomko keeps moving. Xoul connects with a couple of short punches. Xoul with a flurry of punches that miss. Tomko keeping moving, preventing Xoul from controlling successfully. Tomko looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tomko is trying to control the position but Xoul postures up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Xoul is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Etan Xoul hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Tomko looks for a takedown but Xoul sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tomko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Xoul swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tomko looks to clinch and Xoul counters with a straight right hand. Xoul throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tomko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Xoul. Xoul creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tomko sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Xoul happy to just control the position for now. Xoul working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tomko is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Xoul stalls from top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tomko is looking to reverse the position. Tomko sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Xoul is looking to take a break and control but Tomko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Xoul looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tomko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Xoul sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tomko defending well though. Tomko wants to control but Xoul is keeping busy and won't allow it. Tomko is breathing heavily. Xoul stops Tomko from getting back to his feet.
Tomko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tomko is working hard here to advance position. Tomko taking some punishment here, with Xoul in his half guard. Xoul keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xoul postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Tomko to stand up. Tomko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tomko slips under a jab from Xoul. Xoul will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Xoul throws a sloppy head kick and Tomko moves out of range easily. Xoul closes the distance and lands a one-two. Xoul has managed to clinch.
Tomko avoids a wild elbow strike from Xoul. Tomko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Xoul swinging wildly here.
Xoul pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tomko slips a straight right by Xoul. Tomko gets a clinch. Xoul lands with a left to the head. Xoul is working for takedown but Tomko is calmly controlling the position for now. Tomko wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reece Tomko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tomko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Xoul smiles and moves away.
Tomko moves in looking to clinch but Xoul pushes him off. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tomko shoots for a takedown but Xoul saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Xoul misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Etan Xoul dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Xoul fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tomko, pushing him back against the cage. Xoul scores with a nice hook to the head. Tomko tries to land knees in the clinch but Xoul avoids the damage to the body. Tomko manages to break the clinch.
Tomko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Xoul as he jumps to the side. Xoul fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tomko sprawls well initially but Xoul persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Xoul missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Xoul tries to pass to full mount but Tomko defends it. Xoul with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Xoul is looking to take a break and control but Tomko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tomko is defending against the submission attempts here by Xoul.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xoul prevents Tomko from improving his position. Xoul stops Tomko from getting back to his feet.
Tomko is refusing to be controlled, as Xoul sits in half guard. Xoul lands strikes from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Xoul connects with a nice short shot to Tomko's temple. Tomko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Xoul scoring with strikes to the body and head. Etan Xoul has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xoul lands strikes from half guard. Xoul is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tomko sees it coming and defends easily. Xoul performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Xoul has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Xoul looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Tomko throwing hammer fists to the chest of Xoul. What's that going to do exactly?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xoul lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Xoul wants to finish this one by submission but Tomko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Xoul. Xoul landing punches. Xoul cracks Tomko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Xoul goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tomko is on top in guard.
Tomko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xoul swivels though and keeps the full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tomko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Xoul is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Xoul looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Xoul looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Xoul throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tomko is looking to improve his position.
Xoul is thwarting Tomko's attempts to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Xoul is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Etan Xoul showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Xoul looking to score a takedown here. Tomko is defending well but Xoul drives through and ends up in Tomko's guard. Tomko is trying to keep Xoul in close.
Xoul scoring with some ground and pound. Xoul won't allow Tomko to sweep him here. Xoul has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Xoul is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tomko keeping full guard, as Xoul tries to pass. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Xoul's corner is telling him to maintain position. Xoul cracks Tomko with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xoul pushes down on Tomko's leg and manages to get into half guard. Xoul stalling. Xoul working the head and body with strikes. Tomko is looking to control Xoul's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tomko avoid being mounted? Xoul content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Xoul landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Tomko is in trouble now - Xoul has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xoul landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Xoul avoids the attempt from Tomko to control. Xoul lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Xoul lands with some strikes. Xoul pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Xoul cracks Tomko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Xoul is landing with some decent strikes but Tomko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Xoul working the ground and pound effectively.
Xoul looking to control and managing it successfully. Tomko is in a horrible position here. Xoul smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xoul jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tomko manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tomko is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Xoul is controlling him well. Xoul working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tomko takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Tomko is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Xoul working the ground and pound. Xoul grinds an elbow into Tomko's temple. Xoul lands an elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Xoul tries for a kimura but Tomko is defending well. Xoul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tomko keeps working. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tomko seems a little lost for a moment, as Xoul dominates the positioning.
And that's the end of the fight! Etan Xoul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Xoul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
