Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Raith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jozef Jekanowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jekanowski has chosen Sail by Awolnation as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jozef Jekanowski enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jekanowski tries to clinch but Raith moves away
and Raith holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jekanowski gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Jekanowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Raith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Raith shoots in looking for a takedown but Jekanowski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Raith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Raith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jekanowski's waist but Jekanowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raith off to one side.

Jekanowski is not content to let Raith control the position.

Jekanowski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Raith swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jekanowski is now in Raith's guard. A big mistake from Raith there, giving up the dominant position!
Thomas Raith overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Raith has his foot on Jekanowski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jekanowski works his way back into a safe position though.
Jekanowski tries to free his leg and advance position but Raith is retaining full guard.
Jekanowski wants to control from the top but Raith keeps moving.
Raith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jekanowski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
