Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knocked Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iceman Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knocked Out!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Iceman Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out moves out of range of the strikes.
Liddell scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Liddell misses with a combination

and Out counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Out not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Out thows a huge punch but Liddell dodges it nicely.
Out thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Liddell's head.
Out tries to pass the half guard into mount. Liddell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Liddell is not content to let Out control the position.
Liddell pushes Out off looking to stand but Out dives back in and keeps control.
Out has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Out is keen to just control but Liddell is a slippery customer.
Out thows a huge punch but Liddell dodges it nicely.
Liddell blocking the ground and pound attempt from Out.
Out not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Out throwing shots but Liddell is blocking nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Out thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Out throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Out throwing shots but Liddell is blocking nicely.
Out not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Out sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Liddell defending well though.
Out is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Out is trying to control the action in half guard but Liddell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Out passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Liddell!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Out cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Out unloading with bombs!


It looks like Iceman Liddell has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee warns Liddell that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


That has opened up Iceman Liddell's cut even more.
Out lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Liddell looks gassed!
Liddell blocking the ground and pound.
Out throwing strikes but Liddell bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Liddell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Out wants to improve his position but instead Liddell has moved into half guard.
Out gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Out bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Liddell's guard.
Out in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Out throws an elbow that misses. Liddell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Out's guard. Nice move by Liddell!
Out looking to control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Out looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Out. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Liddell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Out uses the cage to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knocked Out dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Iceman Liddell's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Out on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Out shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddell as he avoids it easily.
Out misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Out dives in and grabs Liddell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liddell pushes down on Out's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Knocked Out. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Out.
Liddell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Out counters with a straight right hand.
Knocked Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Liddell's corner calls for a 1-2. Liddell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Out moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


The cut above Iceman Liddell's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Nice shot lands for Liddell.
Out fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Liddell throws out a loose jab but Out uses good head movement to avoid it.
Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Out shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Liddell lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Out can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liddell is looking to escape.

Out looking to control but Liddell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Liddell holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Out tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Out throws some wild stikes that Liddell manages to avoid easily.
Out lands with some strikes.
You get the feeling that Liddell really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Out looking to ground and pound but Liddell is blocking nicely.
Liddell holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Out tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Out sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Out wants to control the pace but Liddell is squirming around nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Out throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That was a close second round but I would say that Knocked Out will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Liddell fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Out checks it well.
Horrible takedown by Out or perhaps it was just good defense by Liddell which made him look bad.

Out throwing strikes but Liddell manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Out is trying to control Liddell's posture but Liddell avoids it.

Liddell decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Liddell tries to bum rush Out with a series of wild strikes but Out uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Out has his takedown stuffed
and Liddell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Liddell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Iceman Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Out tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Knocked Out. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Out shoots in but Liddell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Out has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Liddell finds it's way round the side to connect with Out's head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Liddell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Out moves away.
Liddell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Out looks for a takedown but Liddell sprawls well.
Out fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Out shoots in for a double leg but Liddell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

No joy there for Liddell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Out fails to land the takedown.
Out dives in and grabs Liddell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liddell pushes down on Out's head and hops out.
Out shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well.
Out has his takedown stuffed
and Liddell counters with a three punch combo that has Out backing up. Out nods at Liddell to acknowledge the strikes.
Liddell connects with a looping right hand.

Nice takedown defense from Liddell. No joy for Out on that attempt.
Liddell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Out.
Knocked Out is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Liddell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Out.
Knocked Out is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Some wild striking there from Liddell.
Out shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Out keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Liddell closes the distance and lands a one-two.

And that's the end of the fight!
Iceman Liddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Out has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
