Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adaru Kitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitano comes to the cage accompanied by Arch Enemy - We Will Rise . Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adaru Kitano!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Banner!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banner gets the takedown into side control.
Kitano is looking to reverse the position.
Kitano sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kitano manages to get to full guard.
Kitano tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Banner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Banner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kitano looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kitano is looking for a triangle but Banner pushes his legs off easily.
Kitano keeping full guard, as Banner tries to pass.

Kitano looking for a guillotine here but Banner defends easily.

Banner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Banner trying to control but Kitano is working from the bottom.

Banner drops back looking for a leg! Kitano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kitano manages to kick Banner off! Banner jumps back into Kitano's guard.
Kitano utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kitano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Banner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Banner trying to control but Kitano is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kitano throws a nice looking combination but Banner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Banner drives through with a takedown into guard.
Banner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kitano is keeping the position for now.
Kitano looking to hit a scissor sweep but Banner is one step ahead there.

Kitano throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kitano is breathing heavily.

Kitano looking for a guillotine here but Banner defends easily.
Banner is pushing down on Kitano's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kitano is fighting to maintain full guard but Banner has managed to sneak the leg through.
Banner prevents Kitano from improving his position.

Banner seems to be looking for submissions.

Banner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Kitano looking for submissions off his back.
Kitano wants to improve his position but Banner is controlling well.

Kitano actively working from the bottom here.
Kitano is looking to improve his position.

Kitano looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Kitano won't allow Banner to pass to mount.
Kitano tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Banner has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kitano keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Banner dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Kitano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Banner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Banner drops back looking for a leg! Kitano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kitano manages to kick Banner off! Banner jumps back into Kitano's guard.
Kitano looking for a sweep. Not yet Kitano, not yet.

Kitano is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Banner pushes down on Kitano's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Kitano looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Banner is trying to work for a kimura but Kitano is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kitano is looking for a sweep. Banner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kitano is not content to let Banner control the position.
Kitano tries to roll over but Banner keeps him under control.
Banner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kitano does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Banner passes to full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kitano tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Banner moves to back control.
Kitano is taking damage to the body and head.
Banner controlling well, preventing Kitano from escaping the position.

Banner has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Kitano! Can he survive? No! He's out! Banner gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bruce Banner!
